Was definitely rough but started getting good. It was going fine working with the pen tool and strokes and such, until I got to the hair and messed everything up.

I did the shape of the face and eyes a bit different while still using the same methods in the directions. I used layers.  several shaping and warping tools, strokes, etc.

It’s blurry for some reason, but I started out with the head and the snout, placing them and keeping them together for the rest of the time. The eyes, nose, and teeth were the easiest part, but still a decently simple piece overall.

It was all pretty simple. Easy line patterns that made it easy to follow along with the pen tool using the anchor point chance (alt).

Basic pen tool maneuvers such as  the last one. The most difficult part was getting the curved well-rounded, though I got it eventually. The rest was just mostly straight lines and anchor point changes.

Completed Pen Tool Exercise. Each different drawing was different and had a different process. The most complex one was definitely the “tree” (top right).  I learned to use the pen tool, move the anchor points (alt), make straight and curved lines to fit other drawings.

 

I used the Ellipse tool to create the original circle and added stroke to create the frame. Centered the numbers and placed the notches of the clock. Arrow shape pointing towards every notch and appointed .2 sec/frame for each notch.

I kept most of the normal settings and color stops etc. where they were and changed the color, made it a bit darker, and changed the gradient overlay stops.
