This is definitely rough in some areas, mainly the opacity issues, but I’m mainly focused on getting all my grades up to par at the moment and am trying to get everything done. I first cropped the rabbit head, put it over the parrot and used the stamp tool to erase excess parts of the parrot. There’s slight opacity I just had some trouble with it. I used the pen tool but the whiskers look a little short and angled awkwardly. I then cropped out the eye of the parrot and lined it up over the eye of the rabbit.

Again, there are some rough parts such as misplaced colors and discolored objects, but other than that it seems to be pretty clean. I used a lot of the magnetic lasso, lasso tool for finishing outlines, the magic wand and quick select tool to select big areas with similar contrast. There is moss on the gravestones and the stones are colored slightly brown to symbolize their old age.

I know it’s a little rough in some spots but otherwise I’d say it was a pretty good first run. I highlighted all the areas that had the same color using mostly the Lasso and Magnetic Lasso and added the color to all of them at once. I highlighted the whole background area and added a layer of light blue to act as the city setting. There is a rough spot on the hat chain, but it’s pretty decent other than that.

Contrast- A difference when elements are placed next to each other.

Repetition- The action of repeating something that has already been said or written.

Alignment- Every element in it is visually connected to another element.

Proximity- Minimizes visual clutter, emphasizes on organization and increases viewer comprehension.

I believe the principles of design is building basic skills needed do create illustration or image and change it to meet the requirements of the task. Also the understanding of placing different textures, images, and fonts into our writing.

A social contract is an agreement that the class creates to help build mutual respect. The students create responses that are recorded and then signs the contract to claim that is how they want to be treated and how they will treat others.

1. How do I want to be treated by the teacher?
   –Well obviously I would like some respect for each other, and mainly for any small mistakes not to be made a big deal.
2. How does the teacher think they want to be treated by the student?
   –I believe the teacher would want the students to give him the respect he deserves. He expects us to make it a good year and not mess around the whole year. The students need to actually do their work with precision and focus.
3. How should we treat each other in this classroom?
   –Even though we may not talk to each other often in the classroom, there will probably be times that we do work together, and in those times we will need to talk to each other without conflict. The students will need to be able to work together to overcome a problem.
4. How should we handle problems that come between us?
   –The only way I could think of a problem occurring between us is either attitude issues or just not doing the classwork in general, which can be resolved between some students with either a talk about what they’re doing wrong or a boost of motivation.
